Home from Surgery!

We arrived at Allegheny General at 6:30 a.m. and 12 hours later, Sam was deposited on the couch with ankle elevated and Michael Phelps winning another gold in one of the men's relays. This ligament repair surgery is followed by lots of pain but the meds she's taking should keep her sleeping for the next couple of days. Her biggest concern is that she be able to start school with everyone else on Aug 25th. Rehab should begin in a month. Crutches till then.
