Why This HomeNotAlone Blog?

I started this blog years ago as a family album when Alexa went away to college. Sam was being educated at home and doing a lot of soccer. With digital cameras it was easy to upload and and share pictures. With facebook and our fotki photo account, I now mostly put up current events or news articles I read, making conversation with myself more than anyone else, which is somewhat pathetic I suppose. These posts also show up under my "Notes" on facebook and on my Wall but it's not obvious that they are from my blog. Perhaps I should resolve for 2010 to make a decision about the blog and either return it to "family album" or close it.
