Cats just come to us.........
Meet Ole (oh lay) -- She came to us 2 winters ago and, at first, seemed to live out by a stand of holly bushes. She kept working her way closer to the house till Sam spotted
her one very cold night and talked me into letting her stay in the garage and be fed. She's the first outdoor cat we've ever had. We tried letting her in the house, but she has an unusual habit of washing her paws in the dog's water dish before and after using the litter pan, thus creating what appear to be concrete paws which dirty the rest of the house. She's very friendly and affectionate and gets on well with the dog. If hungry and ignored, she will attack our legs, claws out, however.
We have at least two more cats, kinda. One is an old and mangy looking yellow tabby who lives under the holly bushes. The other has recently appeared - a young, kittenish grey tabby. Sam has not spotted this one yet and I hope she never does.
